Michele Bindi was born in Rome on Aug, 31st, 1959, from a family of farmers since 1650.

After graduation in Classical Lyceum he attended a for a couple of years the Faculty of Agriculture in Perugia, then he started working full time in the family business.

He served as consultant for the grass surfaces for the Italian Football Federation (F.I.G.C.) from 1996 since 2000, and held many seminars for lanscape architects and agronomic engineers in Rome, Turin, Vicenza, Pisa and Viterbo about sport pitches and turfgrasses. He also held various seminar about sport facilities during C.O.N.I. training courses and various exhibitions.

He works in the family business since 1979 and since 1992 he is the CEO and owner of both Bindi Secondo srl and Bindi Pratopronto companies.

He’s been board member since 2018 and President since 2023; from 2017 to 2023 he’s been vicepresident of Assoverde, the Italian association of landscape companies.

Albrecht Knigge grew up on an arable estate near Hanover, Germany. After graduating at Seale Hayne, University of Plymouth in England  he joined his fathers newly started turf enterprise in 1996. Since then Albrecht has developed the business and taken the position of Owner/Director and set up further turf farms under the Brand name of “Rasenland”. He was a founding member and the first President of the German Turfgrass Association. He is married to Caroline, they have three children and  in his free time he enjoys microlighting, shooting and skiing.

After his degree in Agricultural Science at the University  of  Perugia (Italy), he turned back in his homeland starting his experience with the turf world. In 2007 he began his own sod production. His farm production is focused in warm season grasses.

Jan joined Barenbrug in 2016 in exports and is since 2021 responsible for the European Marketing & Sales activities.

Barenbrug is a 120 years old family owned seed company and one of the founding Industry members of the ETP.

Within the ETP Barenbrug is representing the seed sector.

Jan is living in The Netherlands, married to Rianka and they are having 2 young children.

Grew up and started working on the family turf farm Paynes Turf in 1998 and became a partner in the family business in 2004, along with my late father and brother. Having a great passion for turf production and always interested in new ideas and taking the company forward. My other passion is flying and when I can I like to fly to new places including many different country’s across Europe.

Joined the family farm in 1990 after getting his agriculture degree in France. They started growing turf in 1996. Out of his passion for turf and machinery, they started building and selling Vmow-mowers since 2016. The turf farm is specialized in direct marketing and most of the turf is delivered to the customer in the regional area of Luxembourg and its neighbouring countries. When Jacky is not producing turf, he enjoys going on bicycle tours with his wife and skiing.

She is in the management team to work on product & service development.
