ETP FIELD DAY EXPO 2025, Luxembourg - Report

Taking advantage of sunny and warm weather, more than 400 sod farmers, industry delegates, and 35 exhibitors from both European and non-European countries participated in this successful event.

Held every three years, the ETP Field Day Expo is dedicated to live demonstrations of turf machinery. The 2025 edition featured:

• A comprehensive exhibition showcasing the latest turf machinery, tools, and technologies — from management software to prototype machines;
• Live demonstrations under real working conditions of a wide range of machines, including cultivators, seeders, various mowers, and eight different harvesters in action;
• Live demonstrations of different autonomous turf care approaches.

The event kicked off with a welcome reception at Hotel Van der Valk Luxembourg on the evening of July 3rd, where participants attended the ETP General Assembly. During the assembly, the 2024 balance and 2025 budget were approved, and the upcoming 2026 Farm Tour, to be held in Spain from October 21st to 23rd, was announced. The evening concluded with a welcome drink and food, followed by an exquisite dinner — a great opportunity to reconnect and network with friends and colleagues.

The following day was dedicated to the machinery exhibition. Held in a vast demonstration area, the event offered ample space for all attendees. The 35 exhibitors were strategically positioned across the site according to a detailed layout.

Machine suppliers showcased their latest models and innovations in action. The highlights of the event were, unsurprisingly, the large mowers and the wide range of harvesters, followed attentively by many visitors during the demonstrations.

A catering area was also available, offering quick and efficient service with minimal waiting times. It provided another excellent opportunity to interact with participants and exhibitors. Overall, the event was met with great satisfaction and enthusiasm — a welcome return to this format after three years.
